A growing trend among REALTORS® is a pre-listing inspection. The pre-listing inspection can help avoid unpleasant surprises for either side. It allows the vendor/agent to be in control since they become aware of defects and can deal with concerns up front. A property feature sheet presented in conjunction with a pre-listing inspection report will answer a lot of the physiological unknowns for an interested buyer. Our digital home inspection photos and covering summary letter give the prospective buyer a quick visual summary of the home prior to reading all of the detail. We remain available to speak with the prospective buyer should he request and further explanations or input.
Residential inspections are the majority of our business and we have the experience of thousands of residences ranging from very large multi million dollar estates to basic housing and condo units. We have extensive experience with older homes including country properties, septic systems and wells. We are also very familiar with older homes with stone or brick foundations, knob and tube wiring, galvanized water lines and asbestos. Learn more about our Residential Home Inspection services.
Typically a small industrial or commercial inspection requires a full day to complete. Larger buildings can require 2 days or more to complete. Each report is fully customized and tailored to the property and the intended use of the buyer. As in the case of residential reporting, we use all of our sophisticated equipment, including thermal imaging of the roof when weather conditions permit, plus we provide digital photos accompanying the narrative throughout the report. Fees for industrial and commercial buildings are quoted individually depending on the location, size, age and current use of the property.
